Líneas de investigación
Fisiología de la retina.
1. Nuestras investigaciones se enfocan en el estudio de la comunicación entre el epitelio pigmentario de la retina y la retina neural y su asociación con patologías como la retinopatía diabética y la degeneración macular asociada a la edad.
2. En relación a la neurotransmisión en la retina, nos centramos en la caracterización de la glicina como neurotransmisor en la retina y los mecanismos que regulan su acción.
