Líneas de investigación
Estamos interesados en el estudio de alternativas terapéuticas para afecciones que involucran el sistema nervioso central, tales como: epilepsia, ansiedad, alteraciones del sueño y dolor, mediante la evaluación farmacológica de plantas medicinales, fitofármacos y análogos estructurales por síntesis química o productos naturales, así como la búsqueda de mecanismos de acción molecular utilizando modelos experimentales y diferentes técnicas de análisis molecular y de interacción, así como cromatografía del alta resolución y electroencefalografía.
