Las infecciones por virus constituyen procesos altamente dinámicos, que requieren por lo tanto de constante escrutinio. En nuestro laboratorio estudiamos la variabilidad genética de virus y la inmuno-patogénesis asociada a infecciones virales. Las líneas de investigación incluyen:
1. Epidemiología molecular de virus
2. Genómica funcional de la interacción virus-célula en hepatitis E
3. Inmumunometabolismo e infección por el virus de hepatitis E
4. Relación entre virus endémicos y COVID-19
