Líneas de investigación
Mi investigación tiene como objetivo principal comprender la formación, maduración y función de las células endocrinas, con particular interés en las células beta (β) que producen insulina, durante el desarrollo y en condiciones de estrés en el páncreas. De esta forma, al comprender los mecanismos subyacentes de la diferenciación y maduración de las células β se puede contribuir al desarrollo de nuevos enfoques para el tratamiento de diabetes.
